A forbidden love

by Jenny Sys   Mar 14, 2005

How can three simple words be so hard to say?
It's not that I don't want you in that way,
You give me one choice; friends or nothing,
But I really need you, please give me something.
How can a love so beautiful be forbidden?
It would just mean we need to keep it hidden.
Each time I see you my heart increases rate,
But in my head, it starts a big debate.
If we were together we'd be so happy and true,
If they were to find out; then I would never see you.
I have deep and hidden feelings for you my dear,
If they were to find out... That's what you fear.
I think we give it a try, and then you'd see,
That it's the two of us who are meant to be,
If they found out, they couldn't keep us apart,
Because it's you I love with all my heart.
