Never Quit

We all have dreams
We all have passions
But, why can't we ever seem
to eat all our daily rations

We are given life
We are given hopes
But, who out there
will ever bring about the ropes

The ropes of life
The rules to learn
And naught but strife
do we ever have a concern

I will do this,
and I will do that.
But who will stand up
and swing that mighty bat.

Will it be me,
or myself and I
Or will it be none
Except some guy

To live this life
we must first strive
to face our fears
and do more than survive

From the day we are born
to the day we reach success
we must do what we can
and never ever digress

And in the end
it doesn't matter a bit
if we did nothing more
than to just try and never quit
