So fake, so real.

by Alyson   Mar 16, 2005

It's been awhile
since my last real words with you.
There weren't many,
but everything now is taken lightly.

Like a mere image of reality,
my imagination,
the only thing that keeps me guessing.

Hold on to her,
she is your every breath.
You are a cheat, a liar, a threat
to the way I live my life.
She keeps you here.

Sinful, yet passionate,
I know this is wrong.
You used me,
you were the extinguisher
to my fiery soul.

Deep breaths now,
you've almost got me.
You are at the ledge from which I fell.

You are beautiful.
I am broken.
Do not tempt me.

Hurt from the pain of my desires,
I am forgiving only in your mind.

You are perfect.
Or so we think.
Look in a mirror,
it is an imperfect way
of describing who I am.

A wh re, a sl t,
I am you.

Teach me,
I have yet to learn how you live.
Look at me,
deep dark eyes in mine,
Catch me,
I have yet to fall this far,
Love me,
I feel free, I feel you,
Your every breath.

Down my spine,
up my neck,
your words they linger.
Feel my fingers,
cold as ice,
brush up on you in a fiery rage.

My every word contradicting
everything you ever told me.
I don't make sense.
I am a failure to this long,
forgotten world.

You leave me speechless.
Like a rose without it's thorns,
it's leaves, it's color, it's scent.

What am I to you?
For I am nothing to myself.

Certain images from the past
explode into my brain
A series of forgotten words,
disrupting,haunting,
my every move.

You are.
So perfect.
So fake.
Your real.

Please rate and comment on this, i will do the same for you.
