Let Me Breathe Your Saving Grace

by Carlee Ann   Mar 16, 2005

I've got too much to do,
Too much to solve myself
So I lay my worries on you
My God, my rock, my shelf.

I can't help my worldly ways
I sin and you forgive
You sent the Savior one blessed day
And now in glory I live.

You are my internal flame
My faith burns alight
I'll never truly be the same
You disown my anger and spite

Without you I was blind
And then you wore a crown of thorns,
I have no doubt in my mind,
You are my king, and I'm reborn

You give me a love I don't deserve
Patience that I need to get,
I only want to believe and serve
My God, my Savior, the Holy Spirit.

So let me breathe your saving grace
As I live my life on this earth
And when I die, and see your face,
I'll know my beliefs' true worth.
