In Jesus' Eyes

by Carlee Ann   Mar 17, 2005

There's a little girl
With freckles on her face
They tell her braces are ugly
Tell her she's a disgrace

There's a little boy
With glasses on his nose
They tell him that he's fat
That his intelligence doesn't show

There's a little child
Too poor to afford "in" things
They tell the child to be ashamed
They tell that just to be mean

But we are all the same
In our Lord Jesus' eyes
Whether or not we think we're special
He holds us as His prize

He sees us for what's inside,
What's in our thoughts and prayers
He blesses us as His children
And He is always there

So don't you put another to shame
Because they don't have a pretty face
Because what Jesus sees is different
He has our souls to embrace.
In Jesus' eyes, we're all

Sounds like a song-a country one. Lol. I liked it. So cute. Made me smile cuz the first part sounded like me. lol. Lots of love hun, and I'm not doing so well today either. I didn't cut, but according to my mom, I have to dump my boyfriend because he's black and I'm not. I HATE HER!!! So prejudice, so closed minded. She doesn't care that he can be so sweet. I'm crying so hard righ tnow!! gtg!
