She's Not Going To Come Back

by ♥-Sharon Ardern-♥   Mar 18, 2005

A thousand miles beneath the ground
My old self lies, not making any sound
Lying in wait to be found

I stand on top of her grave, to hide her from view
To keep her hidden, especially from you
I don't trust what she might do

Let's walk away, forget she ever resided here
She died, she went, I killed her last year
A long with each and every tear

The past is in the past, don't ask about her today
It's easier if we just leave her to rot away
I'm scared … if she comes back, she might stay

I don't want her destroying what I have with you
Her scars are already on me, in your view
So please, don't ask about her, or she might push back through.
