Dancing in the Rain

by Carlee Ann   Mar 20, 2005

I look outside my window
And watch the rain, pouring
I don\'t want to be so perfect
So immaculate, so boring

I want to dance in the rain
And just spin away my fears
Of failing, of losing, of falling
I want the rain to cleanse me of tears

I want to be soaking wet, let the rain run through my soul
I need to be replenished
I want to ruin all expectations of me
I want to stop being diminished

So tonight I think
I\'m going to go into the rain, and find
My light, my faith, myself
And make up for lost time

**The rain felt dam good.**

lol! I'm clumsy, too, but the rain... God, I love the rain.

I'm so clumsy that if i were to dance in the rain, and pretend I was five, I would slip and bust my head open, lol.
