Nothing has no end

by Godslil1   Mar 22, 2005

As the soft light streamed
Through the dew dripping leaves, one
Twirled free from the branch

And swiftly flew through
The air like a puzzle piece
Lost from its puzzle

The wind soothingly
Sighs as it drops the leaf in
A calming blue pool

Wind stops, ripples clear
A glint in the pool, the sun’s
Settling down now

The sky is painted
Pinks becoming oranges
The stars then come out

Like you’re opening
The doors for a different,
Better kind of world
