Nearly lost my best friend

Losing my best friend, would tear me apart,
this love that i feel, is straight from my heart,
My feelings for her, our very special bond,
cannot be broken, or my body can't respond,

i would be like an empy box, not even alive,
living every single day, as though i had died,
I need her you see, she's my strength and hope,
that covers my weaknesses, or else i can't cope,

I nearly lost her today, for being so depressing,
though i couldn't help it, I wasn't even messing,
knew that she was worried, as she lives so far away,
I can only say i'm sorry, and hope that she will stay,

So this poem is for her, don't tear my heart in two,
please don't ever leave me, i know that i love you,
I'm sorry for what i said or did, that is all i can say,
but in my heart my angel, forever you will stay,
