This Beautiful Girl

by Heatha Ashlee   Mar 22, 2005

A pretty girl
Sits in a pretty world
Unaware of her surroundings

This girl
She thinks she knows the world
But really she has no clue

She thinks she's in love
Until a familiar hand
Once again meets her face

Her arms are bruised
But it doesn't matter anyways
Because he really didn't mean it

So she forgives him
Again and again
If only she knew the future

Drinks everyday
Parties her life away
Hangs with the wrong crowd

He gets mad
So he yells and screams
And it makes her more crazy

But she cant leave
And god knows she wont
She needs him in her life

A pretty girl
In a horrible world
She keeps going around

But this pretty girl
Isn't pretty anymore
And her stress, it shows

Scars on her face
Cuts up her arms
And tears in her eyes

This girl who was once beautiful
Could have been
A model, a actress, a star

But instead this lost girl
Is someone
We'll always remember..
