He took her hand said the last i love you
assured her everything would be ok though otherwise he knew

her thoughts were gone heart in love

it had been months now since he was first admitted

she took him home lay him in bed
said sorry for everything mean she ever said

as he stared at her with tears he said i love you goodbye
she screamed out no as she asked why and closed his eyes
