Dead Love (Short story)

by Jenn   Mar 25, 2005

There once was a girl
she was about 15
every night
she looked out her window
she wished upon a star
hoping 2 find a Love
who wont hurt her
her tears fall down her face
she cries for the one she loves
who may never love her in return
in the middle of the night
she sneaks out of the house
running as fast as she can
she runs thru the forest
she runs down the street
not seeing the car pass
as she stares at her feet
she runs fast
she runs across the road looking down the car comes up fast
with a drunk driver at the wheel
she quickly looks up
all she sees is a flash
she hit the ground like that
he runs out
not knowing what 2 do
she opens her eyes
not believing wut she sees
the drunk was her 1 true love
she turns her head over
looks at a star
n with her last breath
she makes 1 las wish
"i wish i werdead"
she closes here yes
and with her last breath
she dies...
The driver was scared,
and was sad,
that he never got to tell her,
how he felt,
until it was to late,
"I love with you with all my heart"
"until the day I die"
"I just wish i would of figured it out sooner"
he says,
And as he lay there with her,
in his arms he kisses her lips,
when the ambulance came,
he was right there with her,
by her side,
holding her hand tight,
he slowly let go,
and kissed her cold blue lips,
one last time,
A couple days later,
he brought flowers to her grave,
he set them down
and sent her a prayer,
He asked himself,
"why was i drunk, just why everything",
and as he slowly walked away,
he wished her,
Her last final
*good-bye*
