A Pitiful Ending

by mookoo   Mar 26, 2005

An old doll stirs and does wake,
missing random body parts,
smeared in 5 year old birthday cake,
her rampage now starts,

once she was beautiful,
wearing of the most precious of gowns,
eyes of a pearly blue diamond,
the gleaming hair of brown,

she was treated with respect,
she was taken everywhere,
treated with dignity,
placed with the greatest of care,

but the young girl lost her interest,
moving on and away from the doll,
letting her drop into the mud,
letting her wondrous beauty fall,

now the doll crawls back for revenge,
of her pitiful ending and forgotten woes,
for the beautiful dolly,
the one missing 3 toes,

the girl has no idea,
of what she has ungratefully done,
only should she be knowing,
she will be gone before the sun...
