Goodbye Prince Charming

by mookoo   Jul 20, 2006

*This was too long for a quote*

At the stroke of twelve, his soft lips brush hers in disappearing wisps. His hands dissipate from hers as she looks up into his eyes, slowly vanishing into the blanket of stars. A soft echoing “Goodbye my prince” plays along her lips as she bids her childhood dreams farewell. As she closes the thickly bound book of her fantasies, an ache in her heart as she knows reality will never be as perfect.
