Look in the mirror what do you see?
I see that girl who hides from me
Lost and alone she feels
Not knowing when her heart will heal

Look in the mirror, do you see her fear?
Do you see her longing for the end to be near?
Do you se the pain in her eyes?
Do you hear her sadness every time she cries?

Look in the mirror, do you see that fake smile?
And can you hear her fake laugh for awhile?
Look in the mirror and you'll see her mask
Putting it on every day is such a task.

Look in the mirror can you see all those cuts?
She hides from the world cuz they'd think she was nuts
Look in the mirror do you see that black hole?
Right there, in the middle of her soul

Look in the mirror do you see her shattered heart?
Do you see the words all over her body like art?
Do you see all the promises that were never fulfilled?
Do you see all her dreams that have all been killed?

Look in the mirror can't you see that she's trying?
Look in the mirror can't you see that she's dying?
Look at her face, can you see all the pain?
Can you see all the lies, with which nothing's been gained

Look in the mirror can you see all the scars?
And can you hear her wishing upon all the stars?
Can't you see that she looks so confused?
Wondering why all your love was refused
