Little girl

Look over there
What do you see
I see a little girl
She's looking at me

I see a girl
falling apart
someone has hurt her
And ripped out her heart

You can clearly see
Tears swell up in her eyes
But she stays strong
She doesn't cry

No one is near her
Everyone's afraid
I wonder how different
It'd be if someone stayed

I guess we'll never know
Not all dreams come true
For you can see it in her eyes
this girl is truly blue

Unwanted, hurt
And so very confused
Scared for life
And emotionally abused

She feels so used
It won't be long
Before she goes to heaven
Where she belongs
