Masks of life

by Mandy-Rae   Mar 30, 2005

You don't know who I am.
You have told yourself long enough that you think you know,
But you don't.
No one knows me.
They only know what I want them to know,
Which is far from the truth.
No one can say that they know someone so well
That they can predict every move they would make.
Even if so,
This means their disguise worked.
You have fallen for the mask,
The mask that they put on for the world.
You may think that you do not do this,
But if you look long and hard enough,
You will see the truth...
Everything's a lie...
