Porcelin Doll

Happy were the days gone by
Lonely are the days that fill her mind,
Incomplete because they're apart
Shallow is her broken heart.

Her head was once filled with dreams
Of spending her life with you, silly it may seem,
But you shattered them and took them away
Why couldn't you just decide to stay?

She's being trapped into a different world
Why couldn't you just love this girl?
She's like a porcelin doll, fragile and frail,
It's like you smashed her and left the pieces to get stale.

She needs someone to pick up the pieces
And put them back together,
She needs that special someone
To love her endlessly forever.

If only there was someone out there
Who isn't afraid to have her heart,
She would surely love to walk the aisle
And get to say "I love you, till' death do us part."

You'd think by now she'd do something drastic,
Something sad, suicidal, tragic,
But she's sure her life will get better soon
And I bet by her fake mask you'd never see,
This lonely, porcelin doll, is me.
