Falling Down

by Caitlyn   Mar 31, 2005

The light was lit
And now it is burnt cold
I could feel the dryness on my tongue
Where I am thirsty for more
I fall onto my knees
And beg "Lord Please"
I need to be helped up again
Tears drop like bits of rain
And life goes cloudy on a foggy day
I am falling down in my own shame
I am being chased down by some flame
That burns my flesh and the pain won't stop
I cry out for help, but it only echos in my brain
No one cares, no one hears
My lonesome cry
I'm falling down into the dark space
That held all the dying grace
It's falling like leaves in the season of fall
And the pain of my suffering is standing tall
It covers me like dead trees
But when I yell "Help please."
It comes out as a whisper
Because know one cares about me
Falling Down
