As i lie there

by kevin meehan   Apr 1, 2005

As I lie here in the middle of the road
Drenched in my own blood
Listening to the car speed away
I lie there wondering if it was all worth it

As coldness starts to consume me
My eyes start to close and a bright light starts to appear
My breath gets shallower
And I know my end is coming soon
But I lie there wondering if was all worth it

Then I see you walking towards me
And you tell me it will be ok and with you’re soft soothing words
All my pain is gone
You just stay with me not saying a word.
But I lie there wondering if it was all worth it

I feel your hand touch mine and I grip it tight
I hear the sirens in the distance
The moment I feel your touch I see a slid show
Of every moment that I have bin with you
I soon under stand that what I did was all worth it
With that thought I let your hand go and walk in to the light
Only to turn to tell you that I LOVE YOU no matter what
And will be with you always
