Ripples of the Mind

by Eden   Apr 1, 2005

Rage within me froths over soul
Deteriorating the thunderous role

Amid-st the wakened summer moon
Wondering how it has arrived so soon.

Shadows creep along the wall
No longer will my lighter side stall

For coming with them from the gloom
Is written in red, my doom.

Dreary shades blend in teary eyes
Seeing those whom I despise

Craving, needing to tear them apart
Hungering after to drink from their heart.

Blood honed spells to trap their mind
They’re so weak and perfectly blind.

Their lives are simple to unclouded eyes
Waiting upon their messiah to rise.

Ghosts would haunt their predestined souls.
Such is that of darkened coals.

I loathe them all with everything
Just their blood is all I’m wanting.

Vengeance is mine! To the mirror I scream
Can I not share what lays in my dream?

Are they not anything to what I seek?
Must I smell of how they reek?

Tell-told hearts bring stories down
Upon my wearisome frown.

I’m tired of them, I wish no more man
Let me surrender to Darkness’ Plan.

Seek me out to wander alone?
Or to be followed by repetitive tone…

The sky has turned gray; from gray on to black
Stupidity arises in man stack by stack.

I’m the only one who sees who they are
Sees how many wounds that leaves scars

I relish the marring they’ve done to my heart.
Accept their intentions to rip me apart.

For I know not love and they make me strong
More so then ever, for the evil I long.

Telltale hearts beat wildly now
I’m figuring out my true nature’s how

For they will fear me, of that I am sure.
From their falsities I’m sure to allure.

For now I have grown into someone else
Bonded with something who is ringing time’s bells

I am not safe. No, they are not safe
Their tenderness to me is chafe

For I will not rest until death’s blood is bought
By their own humanity their souls have wrought.

My cravings will be satisfied
I’ll loosen the net of lies they’ve tied

And then the moonlight will shine through
And show yourself the real and true you.

Horrendous skins and walking bones
Among the shining apocalyptic cones.

Rescue yourself for the end is near,
For my allies and me you’ll come to fear.

I will shine bright with the light of stars
Birth the darkness you sought to place scars.

Your precious life is almost all gone
Amidst my unearthly spawn.
