Winters Emotion

by Sophie   Apr 2, 2005

The snow falls to the ground, cold and heartless in its short journey before it fades away.
The grey sky frowns down, feeling resentment as heavens frozen tears are consumed by the heat of the earth.
A white sheet of deception forms over time, in one last hopeless attempt to take away a persistent throbbing.
Golden sand is replaced with silver frosted crystals, the once eager sun hides away in shame.
The waves crash at the shore, angrily but rhythmically beating away at the snow covered beach.
As they rise, standing tall, we see a powerful force but this lasts only for a proud but fading second.
Then they crash down, giving up hope, but with this, the once soft sand feels the chaos that is the sea.
