Would we still....

Would she look at me the same,
if I told her how I felt?
Would she think it was a game
if she knew it made my heart melt

How would she react,
if I said "I love you"
Would she have a heart attack,
or respond "I love you, too"?

I need to know the truth inside
these feelings I work hard to hide
I'm afraid of love scared of rejection
I'm so stressed out I need an injection

Is it fruitless, to wish to hold her?
Would it be useless if I told her?
I want her to know about these feelings I control
I wish she knew it was her I hope to hold

And if she knew, would these feelings end?
More importantly, could we still be friends????
