Ode to lonliness

by Rose   Apr 3, 2005

This distance driving me crazy,
A ceaseless tearing at my spirit,
Bleeding shreds of insanity.
Invisible forces..
Invisible wounds..
Every night you voice haunts me,
a ghost from a graced past,
with hopes to bless my future;
my last reason to beg for dreams.
Clinging to the 'memberance,
Of your laughter ringing clear,
like bells tolling over my soul,
reshaping my heart.
Your arms wrapping around me
In passion's longing pursuit,
with the warmth of romance's bliss...
But every memory is drowned,
each in tears or tainted blood,
when I lay again without you,
Hoping you lay too,
Somewhere...
Dreaming of me..
