The Beauty that surrounds

I stepped outside today
for the first time\
I was in no hurry
so I took a look around
I didnt believe my eyes
I think im in wonderland
Just too busy to ever see
the beauty surrounding me.
The grass,fresh with dewdrops
birds singing as if on cue.
I cant believe my eyes
all this splendor in my back yard.
I never took the time
to actually smell the roses
Breate the fresh spring air
Gaze at the wonder of creation.
The magic of life is everywhere
being taken for granted.
Beauty surrounds us, if we open our eyes ,this we will come to realize.
