Who are you?

by Phoenix   Apr 4, 2005

Who do you think you are?
Who are you to sit and judge.
Did God make you different
from the rest of us.
You tell me I am hopeless
uneducated and useless.
That I dont belong in society
because I don't really belong.
Just because you drive a BMW
live in a house on snob hill
You feel you have more rights
and my opinion means nil.
My heart is pure as gold
but as fragile as glass.
If I only had two dollars
I would gladly loan out one.
You walk around town
like the Queen of main street
Putting on a fake face
and putting me down.
Who are you to call me names
turn your nose up and act ashamed
I would save a stranger
can you say the same.
Who are you to call me trash
you don't know what I have done
I have been to places, seen things
tried to help my fellow man.
So before you speak your mind
about me and my kind
Look at your own life
and stay out of mine.
