Half Bad

The sun is bright,
Winter is almost gone.
My loved ones are here,
It feels like a home.

Smiling shiny faces,
All the little ones at my feet.
The story I'm telling them,
Is about a dashing prince
And all his feats.

The cat is curled up beside me.
My little one is on my lap.

Its a day for smiling,
Thats not half bad.
