Even though...

by Sarah-Louise   Apr 4, 2005

Even though we're talking now,
There's something that's not right,
And even though the tears have dried,
I still have burning eyes.

Even though I've told you now,
That this baby's yours and mine,
You say you're thrilled, but I can see,
You treat it like some crime.

Even though you hold my hand,
And assure me it's OK,
I still feel lonely by your side,
But I cannot help but stay.

Even though I want you more,
You think we're best as friends,
So I'll hold on to every chance,
And I'll fight until the end.

Even though my love's declared,
I don't think you'll ever see,
The impact you've mad on my life,
And the change you've made to me.

Even though I should be out,
Enjoying these precious years,
I want to sit, and hold you tight,
I want to keep you here.

Even though, I think you know,
You've turned my life around,
It's not enough, I want you more,
So sweep me off the ground.

I'm not sure I can take so much,
This condition that I'm in,
But I want to give it all up for you,
So let the games begin.

[Don't really know where this was going!]
