Had everything I hoped in a friend

Eight years of friendship, been with u through thick and thin,
Listened to every one of your bullshits
Yet I still stuck with you, giving you some serious advice
And protected you from all the hits.

How dare you ask me for more?

People change, I've heard them say
But never thought it'd be you

A goodbye I feel is due

Pretending just won't do

I screamed, you didn't care

When the reality from me you hid
It sickens me when you're around
Too many times, I let you bring me down
My feelings disappear, my respect blurs
Once the best of friends, now just strangers
