Autumns Emotion

by Sophie   Apr 6, 2005

The first cold breeze creeps through the air, smirking silently.
The falling leaves whisper a gentle sorry as they touch the hard ground.
A grey sky overlooks the deserted land, the clouds heavy with sorrow.
The ground hurts as soft tears fall from a resentful sky.
Milky whisps of mist meander through the aching trees, protecting and defying.
The remains of summers sweet scents die away, crying helplessly.
More tears fall from the clouded sky, clear, still hoping.
The wind, now harsh and icy races through the trees.
The leaves fall faster and the trees creek, no hope is left now.
The passing of time encourages the wind with no remorse, no sorrow.
