The Blade They Rest Their Soul Upon

by LoVeAbLeShOrTie   Apr 6, 2005

Cold, shiny, covered in red
Slicing one slice at a time
Knowing if they just pushed a little harder
Just went a little deeper
Then they would allow their soul to rest upon the blade
The blade releases their soul
Resting for awhile until its time to leave for good
Leaving behind the lonely world. the pain, loss and the memories
Just for awhile their soul will rest on the blade,
Just until their soul is strong enough to move on and forget about the past..
Almost like it was never there
