Why Did You Go That Deep?

You said you'd never do it
So why did you go that deep?
I knew you cut your wrists
And promised not to peep
Well, I wish I never promised
And I wish that I stepped in
That dreadful night you went to deep
You let the razor win
So now I sit here crying
With my head inside my lap
Regret filling my mind
I fall into a nap
We're walking down the hall
And we slowly drift apart
I reach for you desperately
But you fade into the dark
I wake up from this dream
My heart and soul is filled with fear
I feel my tear stained cheeks
And remember you'r not here.

wow, that was awesome, I really respect you're writing, its truly amazing. If this is about a true happening, I'm very sorry, and you have my greatest sympathy. People get their lives turned upsidedown everyday because they, or people they know self destruct, and it will hurt everyone with whom they have a relationship, including themselves and their loved ones. Anyway, this is a truly amazing poem, keep it up!
