Whispering winds

by Dead As Yesterday   Apr 7, 2005

Babe do you think we can talk for a while
Just for a moment let me bask in your smile
Hold my hand and see me melt with your eyes
Let me tell you of Eden under blue skies

Spring has finally fallen seasons have changed
Tears of the winter are all that remain
Storms of lightning and thunder ebb and subside
As does the pain that I carry deep down inside

You are the reason for my joy and pain
Day after day it’s always the same
I dream of tomorrow with you by my side
Let me show you the love that I can’t deny

So take a chance and fly off with me
Take the time and let me help you to see
Flowers that bloom and cry out your name
Whispering winds after the falling rain

    David,

Another GORGEOUS love poem by you but I can have no lower expectations =D Well, I don't know if you just added your pic or what but you're great looking for your age and talented too , seemingly with this sweet, sensitive, caring soul and yet, there's no girls lining up...I'm astonished! GREAT GREAT GREAT as always, hun 5/5

Oh wow, Paul! This entire poem is so mesmerizing and completely enchanting! Your emotions flow spectacularly throughout this! These few lines just put me in a state of awe!

"Flowers that bloom and cry your name
Whispering winds after the falling rain"

"Hold my hand and see me melt with your eyes"

This is one of your best in my opinion! Keep to it~Holly
