Babyboy

by Rachel   Aug 25, 2003

You’re my baby boy,
My tiny pride and joy,
You make me smile in the day,
And dream of you at night.

When I have to go to work,
I think of your cute smile,
And when I get to come and see you,
I grin all the while.

My minute little baby,
So innocent to the world,
Oblivious to my suffering,
So soundless, tightly curled.

Unaware of all the pain,
That I went through just to bring,
You into such a world,
Love bound by just a ring.

Remember little baby,
I’ll love you for all time,
And if you ever think of me,
Just try a little smile.
