The Girl On The Floor

In my dream there is a girl
She's lying on the floor
The room is dark, the lights turned out
I've seen this place before

I'm looking down upon her
She looks so sad, so dead
Her arms are full of cuts and scars
A new one bleeds so red

Im getting closer to her now
Her brown hair hides her face
Her slim body, hidden in black
Her past needs to be erased

I look down on the girl again
She's waiting to be freed
And then i open my eyes too late
The girl on the floor....it's me.
