Wrong Place, Wrong Time

by Katie Lynn   Apr 9, 2005

Her footsteps echoe
as she walks down the dark alley
she felt safe in the wrong place
and was there at the wrong time.

He pulls his mask down
to conceal his face
he readys his mind and body
for the event that will soon take place.

Her head is telling her
something is wrong
her adrenaline is pumping
as she turns to run.

He turns the corner
and picks up speed
he comes up behind her
as she screams in need.
