Just Stop

by Katie Lynn   Apr 1, 2007

I sit here lodged between the two of you,
Why can't you get over yourselves and quit fighting,
It's not fair to leave me here,
To make me constantly choose between the two of you,
My love for you both is what keeps me here,
You are both so different
And yet I have fallen for you,
I know neither of you are interested in me,
You are only interested in each other.
It is such a tangled mess trying to get you two to make nice,
I am not even sure if that is what I want.
With the two of you apart,
It gives me a greater chance,
Together, I have none.
Mostly I just want you to stop fighting,
Because even though you do not realize it,
It is hurting me much worse than you.
At this point I don't care if I can never win either of you.
Just stop fighting so peace can be reached once more.
