Demonic Restraints

by Eden   Apr 9, 2005

Little wren, I see you.
Within your dreams I am.
Melting self, surviving.
Your inner thoughts I am.
I am your breath,
I am your future,
I am life to you…
Your everything.
You’ve tried to spurn
What I am to you.
Pretending I don’t exist.
But now you know
I’ll never leave,
With me, your power will grow…
With me, you need no prayer.
You need no perfect friends.
Which is great, because they cannot be found.
Fall to me for this very trust…
I am yours to command.
You see an enemy of abhorrence,
I can make his very essence dissipate.
You see something clouding your thoughts,
I will wisp it all away.
But…if you resist me,
I will return all the more stronger.
Your wrists in a vice
That angelic Light cannot break
Because you and all you are, is mine.
So do not resist me,
Mortal being.
My sweet little wren,
It is futile.
