Communication breakdown

by Mel   Apr 9, 2005

For hours and hours
I sat staring at the clock or Something.
Or was it the phone?
'Jaded imagery'
She said to me
When I told her
Where my mind was at.
The twat.
There was no need for that.
I know
Her mind works on several different levels
But better the devil
You know
Than the one you don't.
Damn.
There I go again.
An over ripe metaphor
Kicking in.
I can't be unique with you
Around
Where a mouse becomes a cat
and a rat becomes a hound.
I just wanted to say I loved you
But I'm going around
And around and around.

Sometimes it's not good when two people enjoy the same things; one constantly trips the other up and a battle of wits ensues. Is ignorance bliss? I often wonder.
