Running On Empty

I can’t solve the world’s problems
And every time that hits
My pillow feels my tears
And I know in my heart
That nothing is okay

Will happiness last?
For more than a month
Or crash each time
Back into my heart;
The pain will never get old

Once more I’m here
Déjà vu is all I see
I’m losing hope
Each time I restart
And it hurts to run on empty

I try to see things
In a different light
But changing my views
Is impossible when
Every light is off in my heart
