My Mum

If there was one person in this world who was with me
It'd be my mother, I'm her box, shes my key

Shes been there for me in the hard times and the good
If i ever had a problem she was there, she understood

Shes cried so many times from the pain and from the woe
But shes always come together and i just wanted to let her know

That without her my life wouldn't be complete
Shes the one that has told me, theres no such thing as defeat

Her father was her shoulder,if she needed to cry
And i bet you, from heaven that hes still keeping an eye

I could never find the words, that could possibly describe
The way that i feel for her, deep down inside

If there was someone i could count on, i know she'd be there
Standing next to, with every ounce of care

Its been sixteen years now, and we've had some hard times
But through all the tears i know theres a smile that always shines

The things that i hear and the words that are spoken
Is from the strongest women i know, who's hearts never broken
