My Suicide

I hurt myself today,
to see if i still feel.
To see if the pain inside,
is still real.

Always and forever this pain will stay,
deep inside; it runs through my veins.
A broken heart,
along with tear stains.

This pain makes my heart beat,
but with each beat came a story.
My last story,
was the only one i found glory.

Every story has a start,
maybe with a razor blade and feeling a little bit numb.
Every story has an end,
but that is soon to come.

I found my razor blade,
and put it to my wrist.
I prayed that this would be the end,
and gave it a swift twist.

This is where my story comes to an end,
the blood stained the carpet as i slowly died.
But i left one thing,
the story of my suicide.

    Hey I like this poem and i know how you feel. I used to cut myself and yeah scars last forever while the pain but go away..

    about a year ago i went suicidely insain i know how you feel but cutting your rist wont help cuz the pain still there in the end. and all you'll have is the scars to remind you of that pain. i stillhave all my scar and all they do is remind me of the past .a past i dont want to remember. so if you want to talk my msn is redneck_6920@hotmail.com

    This poem was pretty good. I just didn't like the fact that the first two lines are from the song Hurt [Nine Inch Nails or Johnny Cash].
