Nightman

by Robert   Apr 14, 2005

I take off my clothes
and tuck inside my bed
I turn off the lights,
and he appears all dressed in red

He speaks about life,
about what hes been through,
about his dead kids & wife
and all the people that he knew

He comes every night
every night
and when the morning comes
he's out of sight

I don't sleep cos of him,
I don't know how to make him go away,
and cos of him,
my night is turning into day

He makes me cry for him,
cos what he tells me is very sad
I curse the day
that i used to think he was mad

He comes every night
every night
and when the morning comes
hes out of sight

He looks directly into my eyes
into my eyes
but he vanishes, he goes away,
when the sun rises
