You Kept Me Safe

by DarkOpex   Apr 14, 2005

With your arms around my waist,
I feel safe at last.
I pray to God,
This moment to last.

Your hand through my hair,
I begin to wonder.
As the cloud up above
Rolls with thunder.

As the first drop falls,
I find your gaze.
You set me free,
Let me out of the maze.

As you moved closer,
My heart raced.
It was your mouth,
I was soon to taste.

You pulled me close,
and kissed me dear.
I never thought
We could be so near.

Your hand on my cheek,
Your lips with mine.
I wanted this to happen
All the time.

My arms around you,
And yours holding me.
You wanted us to be together,
That I could see.

You kissed me slow,
Yet very strong.
We were like that for a while,
You kissed me long.

My mouth on fire,
I could feel your heart.
It's where this all began,
The very start.

The rain pouring down,
Chilling me to the bone.
You kept me safe,
You took me home.

With the fire warm,
And our clothes dry.
My mind began to race,
My heart fly.

You caressed my thigh,
And kiss my shoulder.
The fire settled down,
And began to smolder.

Your warm breath
tickled my ear.
When you whispered,
"I love you, Dear."

You kissed my neck,
Played with my hair.
You fixed my hearts
Very deep tear.

You wrapped me up,
In your arms.
You kept me safe,
From all harm.

Your mouth got sweeter,
With every taste.
Every touch,
Made my heart race.

You drew deep kisses
Upon my skin.
The race to my heart
You were sure to win.
