Slip Away

by DarkOpex   Oct 24, 2006

As you forget I slip away,
your smile all but fades.
It grows a little,
holding secrets pressing me away.
Onto the path.

The one I don't choose,
but you send me on.
And for you I will do
whatever you please.

While that smiles stays,
I try not to think.
I walk quickly,
trying to not let my heart sink.

I move quicker,
but I can't get away.
You're staying close.
I thought you wanted me away?

I break out in a run,
as do you.
I soon see what,
You're going to do.

It glistens softly,
and moves in one sweep.
A clean entry,
Very deep.

But it's what you want,
and that's ok.
I will die for you.
Any day.
