My Depression

I look out and see a cold, grey sky,
It matches my cold, grey heart,
Nothing in my life ever goes right,
Each day I'm falling apart.

A little piece of me crumbles away,
Falls to the floor, forever gone,
Everything I touch turns to dust,
I can't do right from wrong.

I lose such precious people in my life,
I hurt them and drive them away,
I lost my one true love ... forever,
Since then it's all been grey.

I can't seem to snap out of it,
It's like I have an obsession,
I'm scared to push away my one true friend,
My faithful, loyal depression.
