The Turn of a page

by Molly   Apr 15, 2005

With every turn of the page
I hear a silent tear drop fall
A heart aches from old words
New love feels soulless compared to the old
Guilty pleasures as the pen slides
Across the paper where her tears collect
A saddened look cast over her shoulder
An empty full heart for the person behind
In those pages secrets did lye
Yearning to reach out for comfort
As a tear slips from her eye
