The Fight of Fate

by Eden   Apr 16, 2005

A cold blanket in the wind
Holding someone tight
Shimmering stars fall from the sun
Falling like glitter fright.
Trees are moaning from the leaves
As dreadful wind pursues;
Darkness calls the bitter armies
Unite! Our fate ensues!
Drums are sounding here and now
On this sacred vow
Blinding light and darkness clash
Together they will make time last.
Forever the fight of fate returns
To scream down an innocent child.
It burns, decays, and rips apart
All hopes born of the heart.
Tripping now on skeletal remains;
My own future and begotten pains.
