Hope

Snow flakes fall
Rain drops come down
Ice thickens
And the world goes round

Laying in bed watching the stars
Awaking in the morning light
Watching the sun hit its highest peak
Waiting for the dark night

The moon envelopes the sun
While the stars take place
Hearing absolutely nothing
And looking for the moon’s face

Finding that one bright star
Thinking and dreaming
Then making your wish
Hoping and praying

Days go by and by
Waiting for that something or someone
Hoping and praying
That it hasn’t come undone
