She changed

by Dora Elia Sepulveda   Apr 17, 2005

Black bracelets around her wrists
spikes around her neck
no one understands her
no one gives her respect

They think she's weird
she thinks she's unique
people talk about her
but she don't care what they think

she likes the way she is
she don't care what people say
as long as she's happy
everything will be OK

she dyed her hair black
she wears black clothes
she is who she is
she's not trying to be a pose

her friends tell her that she's changed
she tells them she knows
they ask why
she looks at them and tells them, she doesn't know
